Visit Fort Ridgely State Park through our website.
Fort Ridgely State Park is on the National Registry and holds significant historical events for the area.  The Park is located along Minnesota State Highway 4, six miles south of Fairfax in Nicollet and Renville Counties.  Day riding or overnight camping with electrical hookups, hot showers, and bathroom facilities.  A Rental Unit is also available!  Beautiful meandering paths that are wide and well groomed criss cross the ecosystems of the park

Talk'n Horses would like to give a BIG Thanks to the State of Minnesota for allowing us to link to their Horseback Riding Location Map!  Just CLICK on the map to the left to be transported to a map of Minnesota with State Parks or Recreation Areas, State Forests, or State Trails that allow horseback riding.

If you place your cursor over the name of the location that you would like more information, the arrow turns into a hand with a pointed index finger (which means that it is a link) touch the location name with the index finger and be transported to another page with more information on the location that you have chosen!

Each location has its own unique beauty....be sure to try them all.  We intend to!!

Happy Trails!
